BC’s first geothermal project is 100% community-owned by the Nation.

Fort Nelson First Nation completed a Community Energy Plan in 2020 to create a vision for a sustainable future. Building upon many years of data and clear community direction, Fort Nelson First Nation's economic development arm Deh Tai LP embarked on the development of Tu Deh-Kah Geothermal on the Clarke Lake site.
The positive economic impact of Tu Deh-Kah Geothermal will be felt across the Northern Rockies.
This project is made possible through the culmination of many years of community leadership, planning and funding. Tu Deh-Kah Geothermal graciously acknowledges all funders for making this project possible to date.
